Nigeria has been a marvel to watch on the world stage. They managed to reach the round of sixteen in the tournament, but unfortunately, their journey has come to an end. The Super Falcons had their last game against England, which was a closely contested match that went into the 90th minute and extra added time. It eventually led to penalties, where Nigeria was knocked out. However, an interesting event occurred during the game. England player Lauren James was given a red card after she walked on top of a fellow Nigerian player who was on the ground. Lauren James has been a favorite among the people on the world stage; however, her behavior on the pitch, due to frustration, has left many disappointed in the Chelsea player.
