Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba has been awarded the September Player of the Month award, sponsored by Atlas Mara. Kampamba emerged as the winner after receiving the highest number of votes in an online poll. Three players were nominated for the September award: Kelvin Kampamba, Kelvin Kapumbu, and Dennis Nya. Kampamba has been in excellent form for ZESCO United this season, scoring six goals in eight matches. He is also the league's top scorer. This is the first time that ZESCO United fans have had the opportunity to vote for the Player of the Month award winner. The award has been introduced as a way of motivating players to perform at the highest level. Kampamba will be hoping to continue his good form for ZESCO United in the upcoming months. He is a key player for the team and aims to help them win the Zambian Premier League title this season.
