Zambia captain Lubambo Musonda provided an assist in his side Silkeborg's impressive 5-0 thrashing of Lyngby in the Danish Superliga week 11 encounter played on Friday evening. The Zambian international was substituted in the 85th minute of the match, but had already contributed to a win that took his side to the top of the table with 22 points. This game was Musonda's last game before he reports for national team duty to lead his Copper Bullets squad, as they take on Egypt and Uganda in two international friendlies set for October 12th and 17th in the UAE. Musonda joined Silkeborg on a season-long loan from AC Horsens on August 9th of this year. His loan spell will run until June 30th, 2024. Friday's assist was his first goal involvement in his new colors.
