Priscar Chilufya and Rachel Kundananji are both part of the Copper Queens and currently play in professional leagues. Priscar Chilufya is currently signed to FC Juarez Femenil, while Racheal Kundananji plays for Madrid CFF and is Europe's second top scorer in the recently concluded season. Racheal Kundananji ended the season with 25 goals making her the second top scorer in the Liga with only three goals behind Alba Redonda. Both players have been signed to Nike on a three-year endorsement, which means that both players receive Nike-branded clothing, shoes, and equipment(balls, watches, etc) the players also received customized boots during the FIFA Women's World Cup. Susan Katongo was also gifted a few customized pairs of boots tho she does not have a contract with Nike. This is a fantastic opportunity for our Zambian queens and serves as a great inspiration to the young, upcoming generation. However, should this be a wake-up call for Zambian local brands?
