Zambian striker Fashion Sakala has expressed his happiness on social media at seeing his dreams come to life, sharing the pitch with some of the biggest names in football. Sakala, whose side lost 3-0 to Karim Benzema's Al-Ittihad in the King's Cup last month, took to Facebook to write: "I am greatly humbled as I look back at the time when my father took me on a bike, and we traveled to Chipata City for football trials in 2012. This was truly the beginning of my dreams. I am now sharing the pitch with players that I've been idolizing and drawing inspiration from throughout my own journey. Meeting Karim Benzema was very special and remains one of the highlights of my career." "I salute the power of prayers and hard work. God bless my father with a long life to enjoy the fruits of his hands." Just last month, Sakala also shared the pitch with one of the greatest players, Cristiano Ronaldo, when Sakala's side played Al-Nassr in the Saudi Professional League. It's great to see Sakala playing against some of the names he could only see on TV growing up. His achievements are an inspiration to young footballers, and his story shows that anything is possible if you work hard and never give up on your dreams.
