Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala Jr. was unable to inspire Rangers to a comeback in their 3-1 loss to Olympiacos of Greece in their final friendly game at home ahead of the new season. Sakala came off the bench to replace Nigerian forward Cyriel Dessers in the 61st minute, but the Zambian international could not help turn things around for his side. The visitors took the lead in the first half, before a James Tavernier penalty early in the second period drew Rangers level. However, a brace from Joao Carvalho saw the Greek side win at Ibrox. Rangers will play their final pre-season match away to Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon.
