FAZ EASTERN
The Eastern Province Football Association of Zambia (EPFAZ) is on a mission to create a strong provincial team, and they are starting at the grassroots level. The U17 trials in Chipata district are now underway, and only players under 17 years old are eligible to participate. FAZ Technical Director Lyson Zulu emphasized the importance of consistently holding training sessions for district teams, as this will help to identify and develop the best players in all areas. So far, 40 players have turned up for the trials, and the district technical bench will assess their skills and abilities before finalizing the list of players. The trials will continue on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and other days that will be communicated to the public. The trials are being held at Hillside Primary School ground in Chipata town.
