Zambia will face Uganda and Egypt in international friendly matches in Dubai this October. The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) confirmed their two friendlies on Wednesday, with the first one to be against Mali in Bamako on 13th October and the second one against Zambia in Dubai on a date to be confirmed. The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is yet to confirm the two friendlies, but the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) was the first to announce their international friendly match against Zambia. The match will take place on 12th October at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE. These friendly matches will be an opportunity for the Chipolopolo boys' coach, Avram Grant, to assess his stars ahead of the World Cup qualifiers in November and next year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Ivory Coast. Zambia qualified for the AFCON for the first time in eight years after missing out on the previous three editions of the competition.
