Prison Leopards Football Club has received temporary approval to play their next two home games at the President Stadium, following an inspection by Mr Iva Lengwe, FAZ Club Registrar/Licensing Manager, and Mr Brian Mulenga, Premier League Manager, on Tuesday, 3rd October 2023. The pair expressed satisfaction with the club's response in meeting the requirements and targets outlined in the initial inspection report. However, they cautioned the club management that the approval will be revoked in a month if urgent attention is not given to some highlighted concerns. According to club licensing requirements, the stadium failed its initial inspection before the start of the season. With the temporary approval, the boys mentored by Albert Kachinga will now have the opportunity to play their first Premier League match of the season at their registered home ground as they welcome the Red Arrows Football Club, sponsored by the Zambia Airforce, on Saturday, 7th October 2023. The club management must work diligently to address the highlighted concerns in order to secure permanent approval for the use of the President Stadium as their home ground.
