Over the weekend, NOCZ President Alfred Foloko played a significant role at the African Cadet and Junior Championships in Madagascar. Serving as Vice President for the Africa Judo Union (AJU), Foloko had the honor of presenting medals to the athletes who competed in the competition held from 27th to 30th July 2023 in Mahamasima Antananarivo, Madagascar. Representing Zambia, Foloko's presence and involvement in the championships further demonstrated the nation's commitment to supporting and promoting sports excellence at the continental level. His participation in officiating the event added to the significance and success of the championships, celebrating the achievements of judo athletes from various African nations. Fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among nations, the African Cadet and Junior Championships provided a platform for young judo talents to showcase their skills and compete at a high level.
