Nsama Matka has secured another term as the President of Lusaka Golf Club in the annual general meeting (AGM). The incumbent president emerged unopposed during the AGM while other members of the executive committee faced defeat in their bids for re-election. Only two individuals managed to retain their positions amidst the reshuffling. Nsama Mataka, the re-elected president, and Richard Phiri, the tournament secretary, who secured 136 votes, maintained their respective roles. Younus Mitha assumes the position of vice-president, succeeding Nawa Mata, who chose not to participate in the re-election process. Meanwhile, former vice-captain Kevin Cumings takes on the role of captain, overcoming Morris Mujala in a convincing victory. This victory comes two years after Cumings lost the captaincy to Noel Nkoma. In the vice-captain position, Mphatso Mutendele could not secure another term, losing out to Pravin Patel. The AGM also witnessed changes in the role of treasurer, as KPMG partner and head of audit practice, Chipwayambokoma, succeeded Chishimba Kabwe by garnering 138 votes against the latter's 21. The AGM brought both continuity and change to the Lusaka Golf Club's executive committee, with Nsama Mataka leading the club into another term as its president.
