A substantial amount of Eight Million Kwacha is anticipated to be raised through the upcoming Inaugural President's Charity Golf Tournament. This announcement was made by the Organizing Committee Chairperson, Noel Nkoma, during a press conference held in Lusaka. Nkoma went on to reveal that the Inaugural President's Charity Golf Tournament is set to take place on November 5, 2023, at the prestigious State House Golf Course in Lusaka. It promises a day of exceptional golfing action for a noble cause. Adding to the anticipation, Luyando Ngwenya, the Managing Director of Brand Line Africa Communications and Media Consultants, shared that several corporate entities have shown their support by sponsoring the tournament. Ngwenya, who oversees the Inaugural President's Charity Golf Tournament Secretariat, expressed high hopes for the event's success. Furthermore, Michael Chola, the Treasurer of the Zambia Golf Union, unveiled their commitment to advancing the popularity of golf within Zambia. Chola emphasized that the union is actively collaborating with educational institutions to incorporate golf into their Physical Education programs, ensuring that the sport becomes an integral part of Zambian culture.
