President Hakainde Hichilema has called upon the Zambia Golf Union to rejuvenate the presence of golf in the country, citing a decline in the sport's standards. He emphasized the importance of devising effective strategies for investment and revitalization. This statement was made at the President's Charity Golf Tournament, hosted at the State House golf course. Noel Nkoma, the Chairperson of the President's Charity Golf tournament, expressed plans for the event to become an annual tradition, celebrating its successful start. Furthermore, the tournament has raised over 3 million kwacha, with the Zambia Army emerging as the champions.
