STOPHILA SUNZU LEAVES TOP FLIGHT INTO SECOND TIER

Zambian international defender Stophila Sunzu has left Chinese Super League side Cangzhou Mighty Lions — official & confirmed. Sunzu (33) departed Cangzhou after the club did not renew his contract. The Chipolopolo 2012 AFCON-winning hero is among 16 players who left the club following the expiration of their contracts. He joined Cangzhou in 2020 from French Ligue 1 side Lille. Meanwhile, Stophila Sunzu will join Chinese second-tier side Ji’nan Xingzhou as a free agent with a deal almost 100% done. The 33-year-old is set to sign a year-long deal with Xingzhou.
