MBOTELA IS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE 2023/24 SUPER LEAGUE SEASON

Football Association of Zambia FAZ Referees manager Aziph Banda says young referee Raphael Mbotela will be among the referees to be considered to officiate the 2023/24 super league season. Banda says he is currently monitoring him in division two where he officiates and he is impressed with his officiating. The 18-year-old qualified to officiate super league games in December 2022 after passing the referees course. And the Kitwe-based referee is happy with the news adding that it will help him improve his officiating career. Mbotela came into the limelight after he was handed a COSAFA invite for the 2021 Under 17 AUSC Region Five Games in Lesotho.
