Saturday, 19th August 2023, marked a day of dynamic netball prowess, as teams embraced the stage for a display of sheer determination and skill. Amidst the vibrant atmosphere, several captivating encounters unfolded: GREEN EAGLES navigated the fine line between triumph and challenge, securing a nail-biting victory against their competitors from NAPSA. The final scoreline, a slender 36-35 in favor of the Green Eagles, left spectators captivated until the very last seconds of play. A twist of fate awaited as the scheduled clash between MAZABUKA UNITED and LUSAKA CITY COUNCIL took an unexpected turn. With a walkover victory, Lusaka City Council emerged as victors, earning a 40-0 scoreline. Mazabuka United's absence paved the way for an uncontested triumph. The GREEN BUFFALOES demonstrated their mettle, orchestrating a display of strength and synergy to dominate their opponents, NKWAZI, with a commanding score of 47-31. Their resounding performance reinforced their standing as a formidable force in the league. Anticipation reached a crescendo as RED ARROWS and PRISON LEOPARDS prepared to lock horns. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances led to the postponement of the match, enveloping the encounter in suspense and intrigue. Parallelly, the scheduled duel between KALINGALINGA and UNZA faced a similar fate of postponement, shrouding their impending clash in a veil of anticipation. In the arena of Men's League Week 7 matches, the GREEN BUFFALOES perpetuated their triumphant momentum, clinching a resounding victory against NKWAZI with a notable 47-31 score. ZNS MAKENI left an indelible mark as they claimed victory over MAZABUKA UNITED with a score of 40-0.
