Despite the setback in results in the 2022 Independence 7s rugby challenge, Red Arrows Rugby Club is geared up for this year's event on Saturday, November 17, 2023. Chairman Amos Chitembwe highlightd the alignment of the Independence challenge with the nation's development goals. The prize money has increased to 64,000 kwacha from last year's 44,000 kwacha, and Coach Mwamba Chishimba expressed confidence in the team's thorough preparation. The event, themed "Accelerating National Development through Sports," features competition with Zimbabwean clubs. Meanwhile,the Women's Red Arrows Rugby team, is ready to showcase their best and regain the title from Zimbabwe.
