The men's 15s team is embarking on a journey to Uganda today, eagerly anticipating their participation in the upcoming Victoria Cup. This prestigious rugby tournament will include participation from the host nation, Uganda, as well as Kenya. Before their departure, the Zambia Rugby Union President, Louis Chileshe Bweupe, extended his heartfelt well wishes to the team. He took a moment to express his gratitude for the unwavering effort and resilience the players have demonstrated thus far, recognizing their dedication to the sport and the nation. Bweupe emphasized the union's strong belief that the team will leave no stone unturned in their quest to make the nation proud. He shared his optimism for their performance in the Victoria Cup. Furthermore, Bweupe expressed his appreciation to Diggers Rugby Club for providing accommodation to the National team during their preparations, which significantly contributed to the affordability of this training camp.
