Red Arrows Rugby Club
Zimbabwean teams, including Harare Sports Club, will join the Red Arrows Independence Sevens Challenge in Lusaka next weekend. The one-day event at Yotam Muleya Ground and Lusaka Rugby Club will feature six Zimbabwean teams, with Harare Sports Club and Old Georgians participating in both the men's and women's categories. Other teams in the competition will include Pitbull in the men's category and Zimbiru in the women's category. Three National Rugby League outfits – Mufulira Leopards, Green Eagles, and "Powerhouse" Lusaka – have also confirmed their presence. Arrows expects a total of 24 teams participating, offering a prize pool of k64,000. Teams will be required to pay a participation fee of k1,500 for men and k750 for women.
