She said there is a lot of untapped potential in these areas and calls upon the corporate world to contribute to the growth of Netball by investing in local leagues. Gwen Mavaka, the Top Shooter for Mansa Stars Netball Team, backed the sentiments expressed by Coach Ndumba. Mavaka emphasized the broader societal impact of developing Netball, stressing that it plays a role in reducing the number of teenage pregnancies and sees the sport as a means to empower young girls.
