The triumphant Green Buffaloes VC has returned home after clinching the 2023 Confederation of African Volleyball Zone VI Senior Indoor Club championship in Lesotho. The defending champions were enthusiastically greeted by fans at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport upon their return from Lesotho. Securing their second consecutive title, the Butah Boys delivered a thrilling 3-2 victory over Zimbabwe's NABA in a captivating comeback during the final showdown, adding to their legacy with a remarkable performance. Among the standout performances in the tournament were the quarterfinal qualifications of four Zambian teams: Green Buffaloes VC (Men), Green Buffaloes VC (Women), Lusaka Wolves VC, and Falcons VC.
