The Zambia Volleyball Association (ZAVA) has appointed Mr. Isaac Manda as the Vice General Secretary of the Association. A distinguished figure in the sporting realm, Mr. Manda brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Notably, he served as the General Secretary of Zanaco FC, where his remarkable 18-year tenure included numerous accomplishments. Mr. Manda's leadership contributed to Zanaco FC securing five Zambian Super League titles out of seven, with the latest triumph in 2016. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in clinching the Barclays Cup in 2017. Mr. Manda's dedication to football administration is evident through his various roles, from Executive Committee Member to General Secretary at Zanaco FC. His involvement in CAF Interclub Competitions since 2004 provided him with extensive experience, marked by travels to 25 African countries. Beyond his contributions to men's football, Mr. Manda played a key role in launching women's football with Zanaco FC in 2021, marking a historic moment for the club. He continues to make strides in the elite Women's Super League. As he embarks on this new chapter with ZAVA, Mr. Manda's comprehensive background and commitment to sports administration make him an invaluable addition to the Association.
