The National Olympics Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) is actively fostering inclusivity and diversity within the sports landscape. In a year-end reflection, NOCZ President Alfred Foloko highlighted the committee's commitment to capacity building for the advancement of Zambia's sports sector. “This year, we welcomed two new members to the Olympic Family in Zambia—the Zambia Golf Union and the Wrestling Association of Zambia. Their inclusion marks a significant step forward in our collective pursuit of sporting excellence and unity,” he said. Mr. Foloko added that this year saw a notable expansion of the Inclusive Sport Festival, spanning across three locations: Maheba Refugee Camp, Livingstone, and the central event in Lusaka. He expressed that these efforts collectively highlight the unwavering dedication to advancing and enhancing the sporting landscape.
