The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) is set to enter into a partnership agreement with Summit Sports Arena which will allow Zambian Olympic athletes to have access to Summit's modern facilities and equipment as they train for the upcoming international competitions, including the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. NOCZ President Alfred Foloko recently explored Summit Sports Arena and Gladiator Fitness Gym at Lamasat Complex in Lusaka's Makeni Area and expressed enthusiasm about the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment surpassing even OYDC Zambia. "Some of this equipment is coming into Zambia for the first time," said Foloko. "This is exactly what our Olympic athletes need to maximize their performance at a high level. Our Paris 2024 team will undoubtedly benefit from training here." This initiative follows a generous Teqball table donation from the Teqball Federation of Zambia to Summit Sports Arena, underscoring the dynamic sports environment. The formal signing of the partnership agreement is on the horizon and promises substantial advantages for Zambia's Olympic athletes in their pursuit of excellence.
