10th September 2023, the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) is currently hosting a training titled "Marketing Sports Organizations Course" which aims to empower sports organizations in the marketing arena. "We are currently underway with Module 5, which focuses on Marketing in Olympic Sports organizations, as part of the first cohort of the Advanced Sports Management Course in Zambia," shared NOCZ. Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, the Chief Executive Officer of OYDC Zambia - Sports Development Centre, is leading Module 5 out of the 7 modules to be completed this year. In other developments, The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has announced the launch of the Athletes' Anti-Doping Ombuds website. This website is a secure platform that athletes can use to contact the Ombuds, a free, neutral, and confidential resource for athletes with questions or concerns about anti-doping issues. NOCZ will soon hold a sensitization program on the same.
