The Bankers interim coach is confident his team is set to make things right in Zambian Super League this weekend. After his 3-2 defeat in his first game in charge against Zesco last weekend, newly appointed Zanaco football club coach, Wednson Nyirenda is confident the Bankers can cause an upset in the league standings. Zanaco will host Kansanshi Dynamos at Sunset Stadium this Saturday as they seek redemption following their nine-match winless streak. The Bankers who earlier this month sacked coach Kelvin Kaindu and Nigerian consultant coach Emmanuel Amunike, are currently in the relegation zone sitting in 15th position with 34 points. Nyirenda said has worked on restoring confidence in the players and expects a much-improved performance from his players Today. “Preparation went on very well, we have done all we can; We have tried to rectify all the mistakes that we have in our defense and also our attack we have tried to sharpen up our attack.” The former Chipolopolo coach has also cautioned his players about underrating their opponents. “Every game is a big game and every game is a difficult game, Kansanshi has been on a good trot five games without a loss, I think they are enjoying that confidence, whilst we have not won a game in about nine games.
