Fiji faced Trinidad & Tobago in the 11th Place Playoff, with Fiji securing a convincing victory of 71-37. In the semifinal, England clashed with New Zealand in a thrilling encounter. The match was intense, with England emerging victorious with a close score of 46-40, securing their spot in the finals. The second semifinal featured Jamaica taking on Australia. The match was fiercely contested, but Australia managed to outscore Jamaica, winning the game 57-54, earning their place in the finals against England. After the semifinals, Scotland and Wales faced off in the 9th Place Playoff. It was a closely fought match, but Wales managed to triumph with a score of 57-42. The final day of the Netball World Cup, on Sunday, 6th August 2023, featured four exciting games. The first match saw Malawi and Tonga battling it out in the 7th Place Playoff at 9:00 AM. At 11:00 AM, the 5th Place Playoff took place between the host nation, South Africa, and Uganda. The crowd was enthusiastic as the teams fought hard for the fifth-place position. In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, the third-place playoff match occurred, with New Zealand facing Jamaica. Both teams were determined to secure a podium finish. The most anticipated event, the final match, took place at 6:00 PM, featuring England and Australia.
