COACH Perry Mutapa says Napsa Stars are guaranteed a place in the Super League next year after reaching the 45 points mark and will play the remaining five matches without pressure. Mutapa said in an interview on Tuesday that the target at the start of the season was to ensure they remain in the MTN Super League. Last Saturday, Napsa clobbered Green Buffaloes 4-1 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka to sneak into second position in the standings. Napsa and third-placed Buffaloes have 45 points apiece but the former has a better goal aggregate. Leaders Power Dynamos have 55 points and need two wins to be crowned champions for the first time since 2011 and seventh overall. Mutapa said he over-celebrated the win over Buffaloes because it guaranteed his team top-flight football next season. Napsa is in line to represent the country in the Confederation Cup, but Mutapa said playing continental football will be good though it was not the main objective. "This year our objective was to stabilize the team and I am happy that we have 45 points because at this moment no matter what happens, all the teams that are at the bottom cannot catch up with us. We are safe," Mutapa said. So far Buildcon has been demoted while Chambishi (28 points), Lumwana Radiants (31), Zanaco (34), Nkwazi (34), Nchanga Rangers (35), Kansanshi Dynamos (36), and Kabwe Warriors (37) are in danger of dropping to the National Division One.
