In an electrifying showcase of netball prowess, the Midlands Netball Association (MINA) held its Week 16 Premier League games at the NAPSA Sports Complex in Lusaka on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The matches lived up to the anticipation, delivering intense competition and thrilling moments. The day's netball spectacle began with a captivating face-off between Lusaka City Council and Kalingalinga United, with the former securing a 45-33 victory. Meanwhile, UNZA faced a formidable challenge from Red Arrows, who emerged victorious with a commanding 68-20 win. The crowd witnessed a tight contest between NAPSA and Green Buffaloes, with the latter ultimately triumphing with a final score of 50-35. In a nail-biting showdown, Prison Leopards edged past NKWAZI by the narrowest of margins, securing a 41-40 win. Green Eagles showcased their dominance in their match against MaZabuka United, finishing with a convincing score of 58-36. Not to be overshadowed, the Men's League also had its share of exciting matches. NKWAZI emerged victorious against MaZabuka United with a final score of 47-30, while Green Buffaloes demonstrated their prowess with a convincing 49-20 win over UNZA. These results, confirmed by MINA's Head of Media and Marketing, Yvonne Kamanda, demonstrated the incredible talent and competitive spirit that graced the courts at the NAPSA Sports Complex.
