Zambia women's national soccer team the Copper Queens has lost one of their two International friendlies lined up against South Korea 5-2 today in south korea. The host took advantage of poor coordination of the visitor's defense in the second half to score three goals and win 5-2 on the day after going into the break on the losing side 2-1. South Korea dominated much of the proceedings as Zambia looked disorganized in the middle of the pack, especially in the second half of the game. The most took the lead in the 23rd minute before Zambia came back to lead 2-1 at the break in-form striker Racheal kundanaji for the leveler before Banda scored the second goal to seal victory for the visitors at the break. Both teams are using these friendlies as preparatory matches for the upcoming world cup Slated for June this year. They will be facing each other again in the second friendly match to be played on Tuesday at the same venue. Coach Bruce Mwape will look to make changes to the performance shown by his ladies in the second half today if Zambia is to record victory against South Korea on Tuesday. The absence of Belemu was felt in the Zambia defense as South Korea used the side of Esther Siumfuko to wipe in the crosses in the second half. Good luck Copper Queens in the second match.
