Green Buffaloes yesterday beat AS INJS of Ivory Coast 3-1 in a pre-quarter-final match at the Africa Volleyball Club Championship in Kalitbia, Tunisia. Buffaloes have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals with results from other matches Buffaloes won 25-2 1 in the first set and lost the second set 25-17. The Zambians bounced back in the third set and Won 26-24 in their favor and went on to win the fourth set 25-22. They finished third with three points in Group B while Port Douala of Cameroon topped with nine points, four better than Olympique Goyaves of Mauritius with Burundi's Rukinzo finishing bottom with a point. Buffaloes coach Lackson Mazumbo said they are looking forward to performing to expectation going forward.
