Justin Shonga, a Zambian forward, has been enjoying a sensational return to his boyhood club, Nkwazi, in the Zambian Super League. After an unsuccessful stint at Ismaily SC in the Egyptian league, where he played four matches without scoring, Shonga has revitalized his career at Nkwazi, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists since his return. Although Nkwazi is struggling in the relegation zone, Shonga's proficiency in front of goal could keep them afloat. Shonga made a name for himself in South African football in 2017 when he was signed by Orlando Pirates after an impressive season in Zambia. He played for the Soweto-based outfit for a season, scoring 16 goals with 16 assists in 77 appearances. He then moved to Tshakhuma and later to Cape Town City before being signed by Ismaily. Shonga expressed his commitment to helping Nkwazi survive, saying, "I am pushing and giving my best so that I can help my team survive at all costs." He also revealed his desire to represent the Zambia national team again, as they aim to qualify for the 2023 Ivory Coast Africa Cup of Nations. Picture- cosafa
