Zambia's men's and women's senior national squads are currently in preparation mode for the upcoming Africa Cup in Gaborone, Botswana, scheduled for later this month. The training sessions kicked off in Lusaka on Monday, marking the start of their rigorous preparations. Lazarus Tembo, the Head Coach of the Women's team, is optimistic about the players' fitness levels, citing the recent closure of the Netball league as a contributing factor. In a positive update, Tembo indicates that the team is in good shape and ready to face the challenges ahead. On the men's side, Peter Chileshe, the Head Coach of the Men's national Netball team, expresses satisfaction with the 20-member provisional squad. The squad is predominantly composed of players from Green Buffaloes and Green Eagles.
