With just a few short weeks left on the countdown, Zambia is about to make its inaugural appearance at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Youth Baseball5 World Cup. This highly anticipated event is slated to take place in Ankara, Turkey, from 10th to 15th October 2023. The Team Handbook introduces a remarkable cohort of young athletes who will proudly don the Zambian colors and represent the nation on the global baseball stage. "Their participation is not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the hard work and determination that have fueled their journey to this moment," the handbook highlights. The team representing Zambia includes David Kalunga, Catherine Chitani, Selina Banda, Sunday Kangongo, Margaret Phiri, Kakumbi Kakumbi, Rita Ntanje, and Siame Mweelwa.
