Lusaka Baseball5 players were kicked off their O! Yes (Olympafrica Youth Empowerment through Sport) Young Leaders Training Workshop hosted at the Olympafrica Centre. This programme, facilitated by the International Olympafrica Foundation with the support of the International Olympic Committee, focuses on utilising sports, physical activity, and Olympic values to foster social development, youth empowerment (with a focus on girls and young women), inclusion, and gender equality. Embracing a unique methodology, O! YES follows the principles of positive youth development, engaging young individuals in productive and constructive ways within their communities, schools, organisations, peer groups, and families to enhance their leadership strengths.
