League leaders Green Buffaloes over the weekend trounced Play it Forward Queens 3-1 in a National Women League Week 29 fixture at Bharat Sports Complex in Livingstone. Buffaloes have 69 points, at par with second-placed Red Arrows, with only five goals separating the teams. Buffaloes scored through Maweta Chilenga in the seventh minute and Maylan Mulenga netted a double in the 18th and 77th minutes. The home side managed to get a consolation through Selina Mashewa on 85 minutes. Buffaloes assistant coach Lubinda Liwilu said the victory puts the team in a good position to defend the league title. And Arrows were on a rampage bashing Nkwazi 5-2 at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
