Reuben Kamanga, the newly appointed General Secretary of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), has emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration within the Zambian football community. In an interview following his approval by the FAZ executive committee, Kamanga expressed his belief that camps should not be encouraged as they hinder the continuous development of the Zambian game. Kamanga's primary objective is to foster a sense of belonging and unity among all stakeholders involved in Zambian football. He aims to bring together various factions and promote a collective effort toward the advancement of the sport. Kamanga envisions a united football family that works together for the common good, rather than a divided community. "I want to leave a legacy of a united football family," Kamanga stated. "A family that truly works together for the benefit of the game. Not a divided family." He stressed the need to collaborate with different stakeholders, including the fans, government, Football Association of Zambia, clubs, and former players. By uniting these groups, Kamanga aims to establish a shared goal of achieving greater accomplishments for Zambian football. Kamanga acknowledges that achieving this unity will require significant effort and cooperation from all parties involved. He firmly believes that there should be no divisions based on camps or factions. Instead, he asserts that everyone should consider themselves part of the same football camp, working collectively towards the betterment of Zambian football.
