In a show of unwavering support for the Copper Queens' upcoming journey to the 2023 FIFA World Cup, Jewel of Africa has generously donated $5,000. The renowned jewelry company has gone a step further by designing a stunning football necklace specifically for this occasion. The necklace features a remarkable 71.62ct Zambian Black Tourmaline (Schorl) encased in a dome-shaped outer shell made of Zambian 95% pure Silver. During a recent Gala dinner, the football necklace was auctioned off, and Higher Bus Zambia Limited emerged as the proud buyer. The esteemed General Manager of Higer Bus Zambia Limited, Wu Ming, expressed his enthusiasm for the cause at the event. He also extended his invitation to other companies, urging them to join hands in supporting the Copper Queens' journey. Presenting the donation to Joseph Chimpampwe, the deputy general secretary of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), CEO Rashmi Sharma of Jewel of Africa underscored her company's commitment to backing the Copper Queens. Sharma emphasized that Jewel of Africa will continue to explore various avenues to support the team. Furthermore, she called upon other businesses to rally behind the Copper Queens and offer their support. The previous contribution by Higer Bus Zambia Limited, in the form of a donated bus to facilitate the team's transportation needs, was acknowledged and appreciated by all. General Manager Wu Ming reiterated his organization's dedication to providing ongoing support to the Copper Queens. Copper Queens' captain, Barbra Banda, extended her appreciation to both Jewel of Africa and Higer Bus Zambia Limited for their generous contributions. Banda took the opportunity to call upon other companies to follow suit and lend their support to the team.
