In the second leg of the semifinals, played in South Africa, Musonda contributed significantly to Yanga SC's victory, scoring the team's second goal in a 2-1 win. Since his transfer from Power Dynamos in January, Musonda has been in exceptional form, exhibiting his goal-scoring prowess.
