Zambia Golf Club is preparing for a notable appearance at the upcoming East and Central Africa Golf Challenge, scheduled to take place in Kigali. The event will feature approximately four teams, and the Women's Golf Club is filled with excitement as they prepare for this prestigious tournament, which is just around the corner next month. The Women's Golf Club has enthusiastically shared their anticipation on social media regarding this significant opportunity. In a statement, they expressed their delight, stating, "We are thrilled to announce the talented team that will proudly represent Zambia at the East and Central Africa Challenge Trophy in Kigali, Rwanda. The tournament is scheduled to run from the 30th of October to the 4th of November 2023," as declared by the Women's Golf Union. The eagerly anticipated team that will carry Zambia's banner consists of Annie Nsama from Nkana Golf Club, Gracious Mwenda, also from Nkana, Jessica Shakemba, another member of Nkana Golf Club, and lastly, Carol Joynt, who not only represents Lusaka Golf Club but also serves as one of the team's dedicated coordinators. These talented individuals are poised to showcase their golfing prowess on the regional stage, representing their nation with pride and determination.
