Before departing for their training camp, the team will receive a hero's farewell in a grand send-off match organized by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ). The esteemed Prince Charles Hotel in Lusaka has been chosen as the team's base, where they will finalize their preparations and focus on fine-tuning their skills and tactics under the guidance of Coach Bruce Mwape and his technical bench. Following their preparations in Lusaka, the Copper Queens will move to Furth, Germany, to set up their base ahead of the Women's World Cup. In Furth, they will face high-profile opponents, including the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, and the host nation, Germany, in a series of friendly matches to further sharpen their competitive edge.
