Evarine Katongo, a midfielder for the Zambia women's national team, has revealed her intention to leave ZISD FC following the conclusion of the upcoming World Cup. In an exclusive interview with Bolanews, Katongo expressed her optimism about securing a playing opportunity outside Zambia after the tournament. Speaking at Woodlands Stadium on Sunday, the talented midfielder said, "I believe that I am going to play outside the country after the World Cup, and I am hopeful because I am working hard and I see myself playing outside Zambia after the World Cup." Following the friendly encounter, Katongo and the rest of the Copper Queens squad departed for Germany to embark on an international training camp. The Zambian Football Association has scheduled three friendly matches as part of their World Cup preparations. Their first match will be against the Republic of Ireland on June 22, followed by a clash with Switzerland on June 30. Finally, they will face Germany on July 7 in their last friendly fixture before the World Cup commences.
