ZedPro Sports Academy successfully signed 22 promising players after an extensive talent search. These players were selected from five different academies in Zambia, and while the process is ongoing, the academy has already begun training the chosen athletes. The first training session took place on June 10th, 2023, at QueensMead stadium in Lusaka. During the session, the players underwent rigorous drills to improve their technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness. The coaching staff was impressed by the players' dedication and performance during a full-squad football match. ZedPro Sports Academy aims to revolutionize women's football in Zambia by providing a platform for young female athletes to pursue their dreams. The academy offers comprehensive training programs, mentorship, and competitive opportunities to nurture a new generation of talented footballers who can achieve success on the international stage. To further promote women's football, ZedPro Sports Academy has announced plans to form partnerships with two academies, Zanimuone Soccer Academy in Lusaka and Katondo Soccer Academy in Kabwe. These partnerships, outlined in Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), will contribute to the long-term development and sustainability of women's football in Zambia, fostering a bright future for the sport in the country.
