Special Olympics Zambia (SOZ) Board Members yesterday convened with parents ahead of departure for the Special Olympics World Games 2023. SOZ invited all parents whose children will participate in various sporting activities in Berlin. SOZ led by the board chairperson madam Liwewe Mazyanga met with Parents whose children are on the verge of representing Zambia at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, German. In an interview with Zed Sport this morning, Dalisto Banda one of the SOZ volunteers, expressed happiness in working with differently-abled people. "I love doing voluntary work and especially working with people who are mostly sidelined by society but sports brings about inclusiveness," He disclosed. Accompanying the team will be Coaches, Councillors, and doctors who are prepared to attend to over 5, 000 Athletes participating in the German World Special Olympics games. The team is expected to depart for Germany this Sunday, 10th June 2023 with the world games kick-starting on Saturday, 17th to 25th June in Berlin.
