Power Dynamos' chances of winning their seventh league title have increased with their impressive 3-1 home win over the weekend with their top man Andy Boyeli chasing the golden boot netting twice in the first half to take his seasonal league goals tally to 16. Power won their first league title in 1984 and their last one came more than a decade ago in 2011 with just five games left till the season's end they will be looking to keep the momentum going and collect the bare minimum 6 points they need from the possible 15. Congolese striker Andy Boyeli has been one of their most important players after the restart of the campaign in January after he was brought in to replace Kennedy Musonda who left for Tanzania mid-season. Boyeli has been banging goals for Power Dynamos on all cylinders in their chase for the league title something their fans have been looking forward to winning for the last 11 years that they have gone without league glory. Mwenya Chipepo will be hoping that his star man will continue scoring goals from here after failing to find the back of the net in three matches in the build-up to the Chambishi game. Speaking after a goalless draw against Green Buffaloes in the week 28 fixture played at Edwin Imboela stadium in Lusaka chipepo stressed that most teams have studied Boyeli’s style of play as the reason why his striker was failing to score goals. “You know, they have studied him. Most of the teams have studied Andy Boyeli. He doesn’t have space because most teams are using two players to mark him. But going forward, we are going to make a plan for him to start scoring again.” Power's next fixture will see them make a short trip within the Copperbelt to play relegation-threatened Nchanga Rangers in the week 30 fixture.
