The Chipolopolo national team has landed in Ndola to commence their final preparations for the upcoming Group H Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ivory Coast. The match is scheduled to take place at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday. Under the guidance of Coach Avram Grant, the team arrived at the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport at 12:30 hours. Before their arrival, Zambia had been conducting an intensive training camp in South Africa for a week to fine-tune their strategies. Joining the team are two notable players who will contribute to their strength. Stoppila Sunzu, the defender who played a crucial role in Zambia's 2012 Afcon victory, arrived in the country yesterday after his stint in China. Additionally, striker Kennedy Musonda, who scored the winning goal in his club Yanga SC's cup final yesterday in Tanzania, will also join the squad. With the team now complete with Aime Mabika only missing, the Chipolopolo are fully focused on their important qualifier match against Ivory Coast and are determined to secure a positive result.
