The Zambia National Futsal team will not take part in the eight-national team invitational tournament in Croatia next week due to failure to secure visas on time. Zambia is the only African nation that was scheduled to participate in the Futsal tournament but will not travel because documents have not been processed on time for the team. The Zambian National Futsal team entered camp last month to prepare for the 8 National Team tournament in Croatia which was scheduled for this month. National team Coach Andrea Cristoretti had assembled 14 players to represent the country where the Championships were supposed to act as Futsal AFCON Qualifiers but sad information has fallen on Zambia. With only 5 days remaining to the championship in Croatia, issues of Visas have risen. Did the government and the National team not know about the tournament in advance?
