The Record 13-time Champions, Nkana football club came from a goal down to beat Nkwazi 2-1 at Chilata over the weekend to confirm their change of fortune for the season. The popular saying, Nothing is impossible may just be one of the truest phrases in the World right now with regard to MTN FAZ super league. Emmanuel Mutale pulled the hosts' level in the 76th minute after Carlos Kaoma had put Nkwazi in the lead in the first half. Lameck Kafwaya won it at the death to take Nkana to 6th place with 41 points. As things stand, Nkana is currently seventh on the log and just four points away from Green Buffaloes in second place. Now that’s a turnaround for a team that started the season on the backfoot fighting relegation and only one win to their name in their first eleven games. Beston Chambeshi’s men are unbeaten in their last eight matches with five wins and three draws. With six matches left to play, Nkana is mathematically still in the race for the title but more realistically in the race to finish as runners-up. The Wusakile-based side remains with trips to Lumwana, Arthur Davies Stadium, and Trade Fair to face ZESCO United. At home, they expect visits from Green Eagles, NAPSA Stars, and Kansanshi Dynamos, all tricky fixtures at this stage of the season. It’s all to play for the remaining games for nkana as the season approaches the climax. Nkana FC
