The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Technical Director, Lyson Zulu, has been selected to participate in the Technical Leadership Diploma program in Brazil. The program, which runs for 18 months, will consist of four onsite blocks with distance and self-directed learning in between each block. Zulu, a graduate of Loughborough and Bath Universities in England, is among 24 football experts chosen from 211 FIFA Member Associations for the program. The first leg of the course will take place from May 11-16 at the Granja Comary Training Centre in Teresópolis, Brazil. In a letter signed by FIFA Head of Technical Leadership Jamie Houchen, Zulu was congratulated on being selected for the program, which is a step towards introducing an industry qualification for technical directors and leaders. Zulu's participation in the program is a significant achievement for the Zambian football community, and his selection is a reflection of his expertise and dedication to the sport. Zulu left the country for Brazil yesterday to participate in the program, where he will represent Zambia and network with other football professionals from around the world. Overall, the Technical Leadership Diploma program is an excellent opportunity for Zulu to enhance his skills and knowledge as a football leader and bring back valuable insights to the Zambian football community.
