The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- says it has experienced a delay in the completion of three out of the four stadiums that were earmarked for rehabilitation under the FIFA support program due to some challenges. FAZ- Acting General Secretary IVA LENGWE says among the challenges faced by the contractors is electricity and water supply in some venues. LENGWE says the delays have resulted in the rescheduling of some of the completion dates. The FA is hopeful that work on the remaining facilities will be completed in the shortest period. LENGWE adds that the Association has engaged the contractors to see how best work can still be done on time. The David Kunda stadium in Chipata Eastern Province is complete and will be handed over next week.
